I've been in love with Dirty Projectors since forever and Bitte Orca has been playing on repeat in my earphones, speakers, head, life the past week. It's never gonna stop being the fresh dew on my ears' fleshly mowed grass. And especially the genius of David Longstreth never ceases to awe. There's something soulful and untouchable about his voice and the complexity of his sound.

I often go back and forth between an all black aesthetic, but in the past year since I moved to Seattle I fell in love with floral patterns and color. However, as fall approaches I find myself being attracted to crisp black pieces with irregular but important shape. Alexander Wang's 09 fall collection is a prime example of collection creating a nostalgia of my old shapeless black dresses and Mia Wallace hair.
